ADEA Diabetes Research Foundation - Research grants

The ADEA Diabetes Research Foundation has recently announced new research grants to enable people to live well every day with diabetes.

Worth up to $60,000 per research project, the ADEA Diabetes Research Grants Program supports best diabetes education and care and aligns with the vision, principles and goals of the Australian National Diabetes Strategy 2016-2020.

Workforce in Diabetes Education survey

This year, the Australian Diabetes Educators Association conducts its first Workforce in Diabetes Education survey that will provide a comprehensive national compilation of information and statistics related to the employment status of health professionals who provide services to people with diabetes in Australia.

Improving access to abortion in New South Wales: health providers and women’s perspectives

Are you a health practitioner who is involved in counselling, referral, or the provision of pregnancy termination in NSW? If yes, we would like to invite you to participate in a study to explore access to abortion in NSW. This will involve a phone interview of approx. 30 minutes at a time that is convenient for you.

Jean Hailes for Women's health - national survey of women and health professionals 2016

Every year women across Australia come to Jean Hailes for information on topics such as body image, mental health, weight and healthy living.  To ensure we understand the health information needs of women and their health professionals, we conduct an annual survey. This year the survey will focus on ‘It’s your health. What’s normal?’ when it comes to women’s health.

Continence Promotion in Disability Care

The Continence Foundation of Australia, the peak body for continence promotion, management and advocacy, is committed to providing high quality continence education to health professionals across Australia.

The Continence Foundation is coming to Canberra in April 2016 to host a FREE education forum for health professionals working with people with disability presented by continence experts.

2016 National Industry Scholarship Grant Initiative

In 2016 Women & Leadership Australia is administering a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across all industry sectors.

From February 10th 2016 the initiative will provide women in all industry sectors with grants for leadership development. More specifically, grant applications are open to women employed in all sectors at two levels.
