Focusing on the positives of rural practice

Friday, 3 January 2014

Phil Anderton, Alliance Council member and rural optometrist, has identified two characteristics of rural practice that should make it an attractive option for health professionals: the rural lifestyle and a high degree of clinical satisfaction. Phil’s thoughts on being a rural optometrist, including some observations from his experiences as a Senior Lecturer in Optometry and Vision Science, have recently been published in My Health Career (www.myhealthcareer.com.au). Well worth a read.
