When applications for grants in round 5 of Stream 2 of the Rural Health Continuing Education closed on 10 October, there were 60 completed and eligible applications. These were assessed and ranked by the independent Assessment Panel, comprised of representatives of eligible professions and an independent Chair.
The funds available in round 5 have enabled 26 projects to be offered funds. They are distributed as follows: NSW – 10, Vic- 5, QLD – 2, SA – 2, WA – 2, TAS – 2, NT – 1 and national – 1. The successful applicants have been notified and the Alliance is in the process of negotiating further details and preparing funding agreements. More details about each of the Round 5 projects offered support will be available on the RHCE2 website in the next few weeks.
