13th National Rural Health Conference, Darwin, 24-27 May 2015
“If you or your organisation has a commitment to good health and wellbeing for the people of rural and remote Australia, plan now to support this landmark event,” says Tim Kelly, Chairperson of the National Rural Health Alliance.
“The 13th National Rural Health Conference is a great place to connect with over 1,000 rural and remote health champions, but it’s much, much more than that."
“You will meet and be inspired by the people who are providing rural and remote health services. Decision makers and opinion leaders will be contributing, watching and responding to the presentations and recommendations from the Conference."
“It’s the single largest event for rural and remote health and wellbeing in Australia, held every two years - so expectations are starting to grow."
The Conference provides many possibilities for you to play your part in ensuring that country people have a fair go into the future.
Look through the Sponsorship and Exhibition Options on the Conference website at www.ruralhealth.org.au/13nrhc to see how you can get engaged and show your support for rural and remote health. Your organisation will benefit from media and political exposure in the months leading up to the Conference, during the four days of the event itself - and beyond.
The call for abstracts for the concurrent sessions opens on 1 August 2014. Consider what you want to report on from your own region, industry or profession.
Registration for the Conference opens on 1 October 2014 and the preliminary program will be on the website during December 2014.
