17 November 2014

The closing date for abstracts for the 13th National Rural Health Conference is Friday 28 November 2014.

The theme for the 13th National Rural Health Conference is People, Places, Possibilities, with program sessions that reflect how these are the key to good health in rural and remote Australia.

“The 13th National Rural Health Conference in Darwin 24-27 May 2015 is the nation’s premier gathering of health professionals, policy makers, consumer groups, researchers, industry representatives, media and community leaders”, said Gordon Gregory, CEO of the National Rural Health Alliance.

“Over 1000 delegates from Cairns to Carnarvon attend the National Rural Health Conference to share, discuss and exchange information on the latest developments and challenges in rural and remote health”.

The National Rural Health Alliance is calling for abstracts for 20-minute or 10-minute papers in one of the ten concurrent sessions.

“This is a real opportunity to shape remote and rural health policy”, said Mr Gregory.

“The Alliance works to ensure the combined voice for rural and remote health from the Conference is translated into real action that makes a difference.”

Submit your abstract to make sure equal health for those in rural and remote Australia is on your health program.
