Welcome to friends of the Alliance.
friends of the Alliance is a network of people and organisations working to improve health and well-being in rural and remote Australia by supporting the National Rural Health Alliance.
The primary aim of friends is to support the work of the Alliance and to facilitate communication among people and organisations interested in health issues in rural and remote Australia.
Benefits of joining friends
By becoming a member of friends, individuals and organisations will enhance their opportunities for involvement in policy development in rural and remote health.
On joining, friends will also receive a copy of the Alliance's CD ROM containing twelve years of policy, conference and research information on rural and remote health. They will also receive regular issues of the Alliance newsletter, Partyline, and be eligible for discounted registration to the biennial National Rural Health Conference and be able to help identify areas for research and advocacy by the Alliance.
Membership of friends is open to individuals and organisations. You can join now by completing the application form and returning with payment. If you would like any further information contact the friends Manager, James Easterbrook on (02) 6285 4660.
